Dear Parent/Carer
 A warm welcome to Walton-le-Dale Arts College & High School. We
hope this web site will provide you with useful information about
the school.
Our aim is to create a happy, secure and caring environment that enables students to learn and mature.
We want our students to work hard and develop
a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others. We want our students to strive
for excellence. We want our students
to feel proud of their school and of themselves.
Because we are a small school with a family ethos, we are able to treat everyone as an individual and ensure they succeed. We believe that all children should
be treated as individuals and that it is our job to make sure that
they develop their talents to the full.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection recognised that we are a 'good' school. We believe this to be true but we also believe that we should always try to be better. We will continue to set the highest standards for ourselves and our students.
We also know that education is a partnership between home
and school. We cannot succeed without your help and active
support. We are committed to developing this partnership further
and continuing our improvement because our students deserve
the best.
I am confident that you and your child will like what you
see at Walton-le-Dale. The school holds Open Evenings towards the end of the Summer and Autumn terms. If you would like to see the school in action
