Arts College Status
Walton-le-Dale Arts College & High School is a specialist Arts College and we believe this enables a student to develop as a whole person. We provide opportunities for students to develop not only core skills, but also attitudes and qualities they will need for the rest of their lives.
Students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including a Drama club, Dance club, Art and Music, a choir and school productions.
Other extra curricular activities are related to ICT and Technology, as well as sport. Gymnastics is particularly strong and we are regularly present at the national finals. Many other trips and visits take place during the year.
